Second module of the third generation of the Regional Liberal Political Academy (RLPA) was held in Zagreb. During the five-day training, the participants of the third RLPA generation followed the lectures on human rights protection at work or at any other occasion and on the principles that imply Human Rights Based Approach. The lecture was held by wonderful Mia Immelback from Sweden.
Laura Owen and Emily Death, from Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party, discussed with the young liberals the issues of political fundraising, and thus explained the importance of money for the campaigns that promote liberal ideas, as well as the required steps for raising such funds.
The participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo Republic presented their ideas for mini projects in Zagreb. Moreover, they have also learnt how to plan the budgets necessary for the project implementation.
Professor Amra Zulfikarpasic has taught the participants about the importance of art for the visual identity, as a political subject, and for the each campaign separately. The communication experts from HNS – Liberal Democrats from Croatia, Maro Alavanja and Velibor Panic, explained the significance of media and politics relations.
After Milosz Hodun’s lecture on populism topics, and workshops with experts Johan Kling and Tomislav Damnjanović, our young liberals are certainly ready for the coming campaigns.
