EU Mentorship II module with the Western Balkan group was held in Ohrid, North
Macedonia, in the Hotel Inex Olgica 17-19th of September.

The event started on Saturday 18th of September with Emil Kirjas, from Global Kirjas and
Vice-President of Liberal International, who discussed with the participants about
Regional initiatives and regional cooperation between liberal parties and organizations
within the Western Balkans. This discussion was followed up by the speed dating
workshop with the representatives: Roman Jakic, LIBSEEN President, Goran Neralic
President of International Education Center and Elvedina Omerhodzic former President
of Youth Forum of Nasa stranka. Participants were able to discuss with each and every
one of them about the potential joint projects, activities and initiatives which could be
implemented on the regional level.

Afterwards, journalist A1 in the Brussels from Skopje Biljana Sekulovska gave tips and
tricks on how to develop a communication with the journalist, which has to be effective
and mutual from both sides in order to build trust and develop long-term cooperation.
The last session for the day was Lobbying expert for EU projects Elena Slavchovska who
explained the process of lobbying in EU institutions and regional ones as well.
The day ended with the boat and touristic guide through the old town of Ohrid and
followed up by the dinner.
